| Raw Material Used The untarnished quality exhibited in our range of industrial process components is owing to the superior grades of raw material deployed for its construction. We make use of various grades of different alloys that are unique for their diverse properties. The raw material that we use is widely reckoned for features like stress free, resistance to corrosion cracking, ideal temperature -coefficient of resistant, high strength and toughness oxidation-resistance and other excellent mechanical properties.
The variegated raw material that we use is mentioned below:
- NICKEL 200- Commercial pure wrought Nickel (construction of chemical plant)
- NICKEL 201- Law-carbon grade nickel (Graphitization in chemical plant operating at temperatures above 3000 C, e.g. caustic soda plant)
- NICKEL 205 - High-purity nickel (Anodes, plants and grids of electronic valves and for magneto-strictive transducers)
- NICKEL 212- Slightly stiffer than pure nickel (Electrode support wires in radio valves and tungsten filament lamps)
- NICKEL 222- Cathode nickel (Sleeves of indirectly heated, oxide-coated cathodes in radio valves)
- NICKEL 270- High-purity nickel (Components of special valves such as hydrogen thyratons and for electric resistance thermometers and controls)
- MONEL alloy 400- General engineering alloy (Used for chemical, steam and petroleum plant, marine and pickling equipment)
- MONEL alloys K 500 - Amenable to precipitation hardening (Used for propeller and pump shafts, bolts, doctor blades and valve spindles)
- CAST MONEL alloys- For foundry addition to silicon
- INCONEL alloy 600- Used for furnace parts, heat-treatment equipment, heating element sheating in nuclear engineering and in the construction of chemical plant.
- INCONEL alloy 625 -High strength from cryogenic temperatures to 1000C and resists attack by other media (Used in aerospace and is being evaluated for chemical and marine engineering)
- INCOLOY alloy 800- Resists hydrogen/hydrogen sulphide corrosion (Based for pigtails and headers and hydrocarbon “cracker” tubes for other high temperature processing equipment)
- INCOLOY alloy 825- Resist corrosion by acids and alkalis in either reducing or oxidizing conditions (Used for chemical plant and pickling plant)
- Nickel Iron Cobalt Alloy- Combining a low coefficient of expansion and higher inflexion temperature with higher strength (Being evaluated for such applications as diesel engine piston crowns compensating members in gas turbine engines and controlled clearance rotating machinery parts)
- INCOLOY Alloy Ds - Resists carburization and alternating carburization and oxidation (Used for furnace parts, heat treatment and vitreous enameling equipment)

| Quality Assurance We have devised various quality assurance plans around which we centre our entire operations. Our range of industrial process components are designed with adherence to these plans that are in sync with the specific requirements of our clients and the specifications prescribed by ASTM. These two parameters are structured into special instructions, based on which we perform audits during our manufacturing and inspection stage.
Our quality control is functioning under a separate management and is instrumental in overseeing all important quality functions. This department performs quality control procedures in different stages and processes that are mentioned below:
Material Control System
- Checking the quality of incoming raw material
- Procured material is checked on the basis of raw material test certificates
- Checks and tests are documented wherein each material is assigned an internal control number for future reference
Process Control Systems
- In this system, in-process checking and control is undertaken
- Processes of forming, forging and heat treatment are subjected to testing
- Reducing the chances of introduction of variables through forging and interim heat treatment
- Heat treatment and testing is done on fittings as per the defined ASTM specifications
Evaluation of test data by QA department followed by documentation in appropriate format.
Evaluation is followed by supplementary tests like radiography, ultrasonic and corrosion testing as per code guide lines
Machining And Dimensional Control
- Maintenance of suitable fixtures and templates for dimensional accuracy
- Periodic calibration of necessary gauges and calipers for maintaining accuracy
- Finishing Painting & Marking
- Shot ballasting or pickling and painting of carbon and alloy steel fittings
- Stainless steel fittings are pickled and passivated
- Marking of all fittings with size, schedule, specification and manufacturer stamp
- As per quality plans, calibration and audits of equipment are done
Certification & Supplementary Test
- Test certificate is accompanied with fittings when supplied to the QAP
- This certificate incorporates various properties of the fittings like chemical, mechanical and hardness properties, heat treatment and hydro test pressure
- Test certificate also contains supplementary tests, stamping details and other additional information as per clients’ requirements
